This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all yacht bookings made through yatch.adamvacations.com, a platform operated by Adam Vacations Pvt. Ltd. (“Adam Vacations”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Bookings displayed or processed on this platform may be: Operated directly by Adam Vacations, or Fulfilled by partner companies, local yacht operators, or independent third-party suppliers (“Suppliers”). By confirming a booking, the customer (“you”) expressly agrees that: The final cancellation and refund terms are governed by the respective Supplier’s conditions, in addition to this general policy.

2. Booking & Confirmation

A yacht booking is considered confirmed only when:
Full or partial payment is successfully received, and Written confirmation is issued via email, WhatsApp, or official communication.
Availability shown on the website is indicative, not guaranteed, until confirmation.

3. Role of Adam Vacations

Adam Vacations acts as:

A booking facilitator, marketplace operator, and/or authorized agent
Not the owner or operator of yachts unless explicitly stated

Adam Vacations does not control supplier-specific cancellation penalties
Refunds depend on what the Supplier allows us to recover on your behalf

5. US & Europe Market – General Industry Policy

For yacht charters in the United States, Europe, UK, and Mediterranean regions, the following industry-standard rules commonly apply:

• Most yacht charters are non-refundable within 7–14 days
• Advance deposits are often non-refundable
• Weather-related cancellations are not refundable unless the operator formally declares unsafe conditions
• Rescheduling is subject to availability and operator discretion
• These conditions are standard across luxury yacht markets and are legally enforceable.

6. Non-Refundable Components

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances, unless explicitly stated otherwise by the Supplier:

• Yacht reservation / blocking fees
• Crew, captain, and service charges
• Fuel charges (actual or estimated)
• Marina / port / docking fees
• Event arrangements, decorations, catering
• Permits, licenses, and special requests

7. Cancellation by Supplier / Force Majeure

In cases involving:

• Yacht technical failure
• Unsafe weather conditions declared by the operator
• Government restrictions, port closures, or force majeure

We will attempt to offer:

Rescheduling (preferred), or A refund only if the Supplier releases funds, minus non-recoverable costs Adam Vacations is not liable for losses beyond the refunded amount.

8. Refund Policy

Refunds are processed strictly in accordance with:
Supplier’s cancellation terms, and This policy No refund is guaranteed unless explicitly confirmed in writing.

8.2 Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days Bank / card issuer processing times may take additional days Refunds are issued to the original payment method only

8.3 Payment Gateway & Transaction Fees

The following are non-refundable:

• Payment gateway fees
• Currency conversion / FX charges
• Cross-border transaction fees
• Bank handling charges

9. Partial Utilization

If any part of the service has commenced or been utilized:

Only unused components may be considered for refund Operational, supplier, and service fees will be deducted

10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without following the official cancellation process may result in:

Booking being treated as non-refundable
Submission of booking confirmation, policies, and communication as evidence
Suspension of future booking privileges

11. Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Reviewing Supplier-specific cancellation terms before payment
• Ensuring travel plans, visas, and schedules align with the booking
• Understanding that yacht charters are time-sensitive luxury services
